Scoring three times in the first, Big Blue controlled this title match from the drop and stifled the Bruins en route to a 6-1 championship win. The B League crown is Big Blue's second Hockey Long Island Cup championship.

Pacing the dominate Big Blue win was the hat trick from B League MVP James Cianci. Cianci scored once in the first and twice in the second to lead a diverse scoring attack that saw nine different players tally points. Overall, in their three playoff wins, Big Blue had nine different goal scorers. In the win, Big Blue crumbled the brickwall that was Bruin netminder Ryan Supper. Finding their offense early, Snipes skated out to a big lead and held off KG 7-4 to win the C League championship. The title victory is Snipes first Hockey Long Island Cup crown.

After being held to a lonely tally in the previous game, a focused Snipes squad scored thrice in the first ten minutes. The dazed KG crew finally woke up and closed the opening period down just 3-1 and up a man. This penalty kill proved the match's critical moment. As Snipes was finishing the penalty kill, C League MVP Sean Hroch snuck behind a napping KG defense. Hroch, fresh off the bench on the penalty box substitution, broke in free and went yard sale on a slick double move that re-established a three goal Snipes lead. Snipes quickly furthered the lead to 6-1 and kept at bay a scrapping KG team that would close to 6-4 but ultimately no closer.
