        GAME C3 - CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Keith Jackson's breathtaking end-to-end rush nine seconds into overtime propelled the underdog Chiefs to an unexpected C-League championship. The younger Chiefs displayed poise throughout frustrating the veteran Bulldogs. In a well played end-to-end game goalies Brad Reid (Chiefs) and Chris Derose (Bulldogs) denied several prime third period scoring chances. The Bulldogs' Steve Andersen sent the game into overtime w/ a one timer at 1:05 remaining in the third period.

        GAME C1
Mike Febrarro and Bill Whiting each scored two goals as the Chiefs continued their late season turnaround with a shocking 5-0 upset of the first place Bucs. Goalie Brad Reid denied a furious third period barrage stonewalling 21 shots en route to his first league shutout. The Chiefs now advance to the Championship game in their maiden season.

        GAME C2
Mike Schmaeling’s hat trick led a workmanlike offense as the Bulldogs thwarted the Phantoms attack. The Phantoms carried the play for much of the middle of the game but were repeatedly denied by Ed Kelerchian’s solid goaltending. Kelerchian made several spectacular third period saves before the Bulldogs seized upon several defensive lapses to put the game out-of-reach. The Bulldogs advance to their 6th consecutive championship game. They are unsuccessful, however, in their last 3 title attempts.
